On my first day in office, I will co-sponsor the Women’s Health Protection Act, a crucial step towards establishing federal legal protection for the right to provide and access abortion care. I will work diligently in Congress to pass a law that overrides state abortion bans under its power to regulate interstate commerce and protect civil rights. I will diligently work in Congress to protect abortion access nationwide, block state bans and extreme restrictions, as well as expand protection beyond abortion.
I believe that all women have a right to choose, and when in Congress, I will help restore Abortion Rights Through a Constitutional Amendment. This would permanently protect reproductive freedom. We must guarantee abortion and reproductive autonomy as a constitutional right and prevent future courts from overturning it again.
